The rising country star just revealed that he’ll be the opening act for Stapleton’s upcoming 2016 spring tour, which is set to kick off in Arizona on April 14.
East took to Twitter on Feb. 4 to reveal the big news, telling fans that he was “beyond excited” about the prospect of heading out with one of the genre’s most buzzed about artists.
“Beyond excited to be joining my pal, @ChrisStapleton, this spring,” East, who’s recently been romantically linked to Miranda Lambert wrote on the social media site, “This will be one for the books. See you there.”
Stapleton’s tour currently 9 dates scheduled around the U.S. this Spring, finishing up in Denver, Colo. on May 5.
But while Stapleton is ready to team-up with Anderson East for his latest string of shows, it was announced last week that the “Traveller” singer will also be hitting the road with another of country’s leading males, Luke Bryan.
Bryan’s team took to Twitter to make the big announcement on Jan. 29, telling his almost 6 million followers; “Excited to announce, award winning artist @ChrisStapleton will join @LukeBryanOnline on the #KilltheLightsTour coming to Dallas & Boston.”
