Watch Aliyah Moulden Deliver a Powerful Version of 'Before He Cheats' on 'The Voice'

During this week's knockout rounds on The Voice, Aliyah Moulden delivered a powerful rendition of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats." And she impressed coach Blake Shelton so much he called it her "best performance yet."

The pint-size powerhouse Moulden is only 15 years old, but you wouldn't know it from that performance. She confidently took the stage, hitting every note with plenty of conviction. And, as we've said before, sounding impressive on a Carrie Underwood tune is no easy feat. Particularly when that song is her most famous tune ever.

Aliyah Moulden holds on to some notes dangerously long (like the word "seats" in the chorus) before scooping up, but the risk pays off. She adds an earthiness to the song that, let's be honest, we've all probably sang along to at least once.

Moulden's competition for the night went with the much more reserved Etta James standard, "At Last." Caroline Sky did a wonderful job with that tune as well, but she just didn't quite sell it as much as Moulden.

Stefani also felt like Moulden had her best performance of the show. And when you get coaches saying those kinds of things about you, it's hard to turn away.

Ultimately, Shelton chose Moulden over Sky. Now Aliyah advances on to the live rounds, where her fate goes to the public voting.

That leaves quite a few singers who impressed with country tunes. Artists who advanced past the knockout rounds sang tunes like "My Church," "Two Black Cadillacs" and "When You Say Nothing At All."

Which makes sense, seeing as country singers have a good chance of impressing on the show. (Even if Underwood is an American Idol alum).

Tuesday's episode features a recap of everything that's happened so far leading up to this week. The live rounds begin April 17 at 7 p.m. central on NBC.

"Before He Cheats" Lyrics

Right now, he's probably slow dancing
With a bleached-blond tramp
And she's probably getting frisky
Right now, he's probably buying
Her some fruity little drink
'Cause she can't shoot whiskey
Right now, he's probably up behind her
With a pool-stick
Showing her how to shoot a combo
And he don't know
I dug my key into the side
Of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive
Carved my name into his leather seats
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights
I slashed a hole in all four tires
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats
Right now, she's probably up singing some
White-trash version of Shania karaoke
Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk"
And he's a-thinking that he's gonna get lucky
Right now, he's probably
Dabbing on three dollars
Worth of that bathroom Polo
Oh, and he don't know
That I dug my key into the side
Of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive
Carved my name into his leather seats
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights
I slashed a hole in all four tires
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats
I might have saved a little trouble for the next girl
'Cause the next time that he cheats
Oh, you know it won't be on me!
No, not on me
'Cause I dug my key into the side
Of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive
Carved my name into his leather seats
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights
I slashed a hole in all four tires
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats
Oh, maybe next time he'll think before he cheats
Oh, before he cheats
Oh
