Nearly a decade ago, Victor Sheppard became the proud owner of a fantastic Toyota Tundra truck. For most drivers, trading the truck in a few years later would have been the normal thing to do. However, this truck had an epic trip ahead. In fact, after Sheppard bought the truck in 2007, he spent the next nine years putting 1,000,000 miles on it.
Even Toyota can’t believe Sheppard pulled off the feat. They plan to dismantle the truck to learn just how it managed to stay in such great shape. Along with the original engine, the truck still has the original transmission and paint job.

What’s even more surprising is that Sheppard never put more than the normal maintenance into the 4.0 V6 truck. Aside from changing a few belts along the way, everything else is factory original. Even the seats and interior look brand new.
If you think this truck received babying treatments from its owner, think again. Sheppard drove over 100,000 miles, every year, driving long-haul routes for his job. This well used Toyota Tundra truck is now being replaced by Sheppard, who naturally chose to buy another Tundra.
One of the great things about Toyota vehicles, in general, is that they are known to offer high mileage vehicles. This is great news for those in the market for a truck or car they intend to keep for years to come.
