Josh Abbott's impressive musical career has surely given his mother plenty to smile about over the years. But this week, he gave her a gift that she'll probably never forget.
In an adorable Instagram video, Abbott shows his mother Lynnette happily accompanying him on a mysterious shopping trip. In reality, the visit was actually for her to buy a dress to walk the ACM Awards red carpet this Sunday. Her reaction to the news is totally priceless.
Although Josh Abbott Band isn't up for any awards this year, the trip to Las Vegas will likely bring some much needed joy to the family. Just four weeks ago, Josh's father, David Abbott, passed away after suffering from a stroke. The devastating loss caused Abbott to cancel a stretch of tour dates to spend time with his loved ones.
