This British-themed bar is a true hidden gem. The location in a basement in the famous Printer’s Alley makes Fleet Street the perfect quick escape from the crowds of Lower Broadway. Inside, you’ll find a jukebox playing classic Brit-pop, British beers on tap and a menu featuring favorites like shepherd’s pie & English crisps.

This is one of the best-kept East Nashville secrets. Village Pub is a true neighborhood watering hole. No live music here, just a relaxing patio for a laid back evening. Be sure to order a stuffed pretzel and a mule.
3. Holland House Bar & Refuge
If you’re looking to impress your date, this is the place to go. Holland House is famous for their crafted cocktails, so grab a seat at the center bar to watch the magic happen. The house-cured meats and farmstead cheeses aren’t to be missed either. For the best deal, go during happy hour from 4-6 PM.
2. Santa’s Pub
Have you ever sung karaoke in a Christmas-themed trailer? Well here’s your chance. Santa’s has long been a local favorite for letting off steam. Bottled beer & the chance to embarrass your friends on the karaoke machine all while surrounded by tinsel and Christmas lights. The owner and sometimes-bartender even looks like Santa. What more could you ask for?

This bar is exactly what it sounds like, a neighborhood taproom featuring rotating local and regional brews with one of the best bar food menus in town. It’s a low-key hang where you’ll find everyone from college kids to dads on their night out. Go on Mondays to catch the Kenny Vaughan Trio closing out the night.
