Yes, that’s right. You can use any cake mix from the store and keep the baked product fresh for up to one year – Don’t forget to date the jars if you make more than one batch. Mine never make it a year anyway!

Like all of the recipes above, you’ll need to mix your cake batter according to the instructions. By using wide-mouthed jars and filling them 1/2 to 2/3 of the way full, you can bake them directly into their containers.
