This Austin Tiny House is Packed with Colorful Style

A young and innovative designer has built one of the most stylish and compact homes in Austin, Texas.

According the interior design website Lonny, Kim Lewis decided to try her hand at creating a tiny house that’s packed with unique design elements and pops of color. The home, which was custom-built for homeowners Aaron and Meredith, is made up of two mobile trailers that are connected by a deck area.

One trailer holds the living and dining space, while the other features a sleeping area and laundry loft. The space was the perfect fit for the couple who moved to the area in order to open a new urban winery.

“I definitely see it as a reflection of the housing industry—the desire to better find a way to live within your means,” Lexis explained to Lonny. “It also represents a free-spirited philosophy; many young couples want or need the flexibility to travel or to live in multiple destinations. This style of living allows for that.”
